Short Biography

Md. Ruhul Amin is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU), Sylhet, Bangladesh. His academic and professional activities reflect a strong commitment to teaching, research, and innovation in emerging areas of electrical and electronic engineering. Mr. Amin is proficient in simulation and analytical tools such as CST Microwave Studio, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink, LTSpice, and OriginPro, along with programming languages including Python, MATLAB, and C. His work integrates with advance research and innovation in photonics, sensing technologies, and sustainable energy systems through collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches.

He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), where he previously completed his B.Sc. (Engg.) in the same discipline.

His research interests include photonics, terahertz metamaterials, biosensing devices, wireless power transfer, and energy systems. He is particularly engaged in the design and optimization of multiband terahertz metamaterial absorbers for high-sensitivity biochemical and biomedical sensing applications. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.

In addition to research, he is actively involved in interdisciplinary engineering projects, including wireless charging systems for electric vehicles, IoT-based smart energy monitoring, and power electronics applications.
