Short Biography

Mr. Sourav Kantee Roy is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Technology at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) from 15 February 2024. Prior to this, He worked before at MOTEX SOURCING LTD, as a Fashion Designer. Demurely he is the Co-Founder and Designer of online base clothing shop, named Get Up: Rising the Style as You Require.

Mr. Sourav Kantee Roy completed his B.sc in Fashion Design & Apparel Engineering From National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research. In addition to completed his S.S.C and H.S.C. from Dhaka Board.

Mr. Roy is prime with organizing capabilities and cultural activities. He was the Joint General Secretary of NITER Fashion Club and Senior Executive of NITER Cultural Club (RAMP).

RESEARCH INTEREST

Research interest covers a wide range of areas of Sustainable Fashion, including Natural dye implement, Waste minimization in cutting waste, Fusion, Fashion marketing, Human behavior in purchasing.

On area of Natural Dye & Co-Author, the article reviewed on several prestigious journals, Title: Eco-Friendly Sustainable Dyeing of Lycra Viscose Fabric with Allium Sativum Using Natural and Metal Mordants;
Project work in Zero Waste Concept: A Sustainable Approach of Waste Minimization.
