Short Biography

Ms. Nasrin Akter Tanya is a postgraduate in Mathematics, possessing a sound knowledge of fundamental concepts in math. She has been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) since August 1, 2023. Ms. Nasrin completed her BSc and MSc in Mathematics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), securing the first position in her batch. As a result, the A F Mujibur Rahman Foundation Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Mathematics has been conferred on her for BSc (Honors)-2019 and MSc (Masters)-2021 degrees. She was also awarded the Scholarship of Merit from 2008 to 2019 in recognition of her outstanding performance on the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam in 2015, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam in 2013, the Junior School Certificate (JSC) exam in 2010, and the Primary Scholarship Examination in 2007.

Ms. Nasrin had affiliations with numerous organizations, like the Delta Debaters Factory and the SUST Mathematical Society. She possesses a strong work ethic, with great leadership and teamwork skills. She is also very motivated to learn new skills and adapt to new projects and environments.
