Short Biography
Abdullah Rajib has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) since August 1, 2023. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sylhet International University (SIU). During his tenure at SIU, he also contributed as the Departmental Coordinator and served as Assistant Controller of Examinations, demonstrating strong leadership and administrative capabilities.
He completed both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Applied Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering (currently recognized as the EEE discipline) from the prestigious University of Dhaka—one of the leading and most renowned institutions in Bangladesh, known for its academic excellence and rich heritage.
Throughout his academic journey, Mr. Abdullah has consistently demonstrated excellence, receiving multiple prestigious scholarships, including the Junior Scholarship, Board Scholarships based on SSC and HSC results, and the Imdad-Sitara Khan Scholarship at the undergraduate level. Notably, he was also awarded a highly competitive scholarship from Sumitomo Corporation, Japan, granted annually to only 20 students of University of Dhaka based on outstanding academic performance.
In addition to his academic and administrative achievements, he has contributed to research, with publications in international journals and conference papers presented in IEEE conference proceedings.
