Short Biography

Nazia Ahmed Nisa is currently serving RTM Al-Kabir Technical University as a lecturer, Department of English, from 1st August 2022. She has completed her graduation and post-graduation in English from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. She was a student of Sylhet Govt. Women’s College in HSC level, and a student of Govt. Agragami Girls’ High School, Sylhet in SSC level.

She has published a paper in a renowned journal. The title of the paper is The Tempest and A Tempest: Interrogating the relationship between Prospero and Caliban through Postcolonial Lens. The paper is published in the Journal of Literary and Cultural Studies vol 1, no 1, (2020), Vishvanatha Kaviraja Institute of Comparative Literature and Aesthetics.

In cultural activity, she has some special areas of knowledge in reciting, debating, organizing events, etc

RESEARCH INTEREST

Her field of interest is researching different kinds of concepts,
• Developing ideas on different theories,
• Colonialism,
• Post Modern criteria,
• Ethnic Literature,
• History of English Literature
• Existentialism
• Environmental change
• Gender role and so on.
