Short Biography

Mr. Mohammad Mahmudul Alam Mia is serving as an Assistant professor and Head in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) since February 26, 2022. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor  of  the  Department  of  Electronics  and  Communication  Engineering  at Sylhet International University (SIU). He also worked as Assistant Controller of Examinations at Sylhet International University. He obtained his B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics  and  Communication  Engineering  from  Khulna  University.  He  also received M.Sc. in Information and Communications Engineering from University of Leicester, United Kingdom.

He has published several articles in journals as well as in the proceedings of IEEE flagship/portfolio conferences.





RESEARCH INTEREST

Research interests include Nanophotonics, Nonlinear Optics, Photonic Crystal Fiber, Optical Biosensor, and Optical Fiber Communication.
