Short Biography

Mr. Abu Syeed Muhammed Abdullah is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration, & Controller of Examinations, RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU). Prior to this, he was an associate professor of the Department of Business Administration at Sylhet International University (SIU). He also worked as the Head of the Department of Business Administration and also carried the responsibility of Proctor at SIU. He has also the experience of working as the coordinator of BBA program at SIU before the tenure of headship. Before joining SIU, he worked at Grameen Phone Ltd., a leading telecom company operating in Bangladesh.

He completed his MBA in (i) Finance and Banking & (ii) Management Information System (Dual Major) from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. He completed BBA in Finance and Management Information System (Dual Major) with Honors award from the same university. Currently he is doing his PhD in the area of Finance at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Research interest covers a wide range of area of Finance including Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, and Derivative Finance.
